BREAKING NEWS:

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns are reportedly in heavy trade talks regarding a blockbuster deal that would send T-Wolves star Al Jefferson and the sixth overall pick in the NBA Draft for Phoenix Suns phenom Amar'e Stoudemire.

Taking a deeper look into the deal, it would give both sides a better edge for the future of their organizations.

Amar'e could play the center position, while Kevin Love would play the power forward. After next season, the Wolves salary cap drops a massive amount, enabling them to possibly sign a big-name player during the 2010 NBA offseason.

Any star teaming up with Amar'e, Love, Mike Miller, and Randy Foye could really help the Wolves snap out of their funk and begin to actually win games.

On the other hand, the Phoenix Suns would get a young gun in Al Jefferson (24) who still has plenty of time to get even better than he is right now. To go along with Jefferson, the Suns would acquire the sixth overall pick in this year's NBA draft, giving them an opportunity to grab any player ranging from Stephen Curry to Jonny Flynn, Brandon Jennings to DeMar DeRozan.

The Phoenix suns are the clear winners from this trade if it goes down! They get a younger player who is putting up better statistics than Amare Stoudemire, and they get the sixth pick! What is Minnesota thinking!? Why would they do this!?

This is the dumbest trade I have ever heard of in my life. Minnesota would be bigger idiots than they already are. I am from MN and Al is better than Amare and we lose the 6th overall pick? Just dumb!! Plus Amare doesn't even want to be here. Al is the cornerstone that the T-wolves build around. Good God please don't happen!
