Supporters of Indian-American Governor of Lousiana, Bobby Jindal have set up a political action committee to set him up as Presidential candidate in the 2012 elections and to raise $ 60 million, towards election fund. The 38-year-old Republican is seen as a major contender to challenge Barack Obama in the 2012 elections. Though media reports say that Jindal was not involved in the efforts of his supporters, his supporters are going ahead with their preparations. Jindal has repeatedly said that he would not want to enter the Presidential race and would concentrate on development of Lousiana, big names like Southern University physics professor Rama Mohanty, Dan Kyle, treasurer of Republican party in Lousiana and Ram Bhaatia were among those who played key role in setting up the Jindal for President Draft Council Inc which had even filled corporation papers last month with the Lousiana Secretary of State’s office. “Though this effort might not materialize in 2012, we will be definitely ready in 2016”, told Kyle Times Picagune.
