Sandoval is hitting .325 with 6HR and 29RBI
Pablo Sandoval

Pablo Sandoval has been a godsend for the Giants since he got called up last August. He had a pretty good rookie two-month campaign in 2008 as he hit .345 with 3HR and 24RBI.

So far this season, Sandoval has been the Giants best hitter and has had some shining moments with his bat. Sandoval is a freak in nature as he squares up bad balls and hits anything in the zone hard as well and he also plays third base and first base positions well. Sandoval was a catcher down in the minors and little to none experience at the hot corners, but he has proven that he is an athlete and can play any position well where you put him, whether it is catcher, first base, third base. Sandoval just wants his name in the lineup and everyday and show the world what he can do.

Giants have seen what Sandoval can do, now it is time for the nation to recognize him for his success so far this season and vote him into the All-Star game as a reserve. His numbers back up his All-Star case as Sandoval is hitting .325 (ranks 7th in NL) and has 6HR and 29RBI's and he also has 17 doubles (12th in NL).

One thing for certain, Sandoval has a knack for hitting the ball hard, and he is also emerging as one of the Giants young leaders along with Giants ace Tim Lincecum, who Sandoval could join in the All-Star Game.
