The Palestinian Social Committee ( Albayarah) in Abu-Dabi announced today that more than 850 short stories have been received by the committee as a participaction in the contest ( Jerusalem is in my thoughts) which was launched by ( Albayarah), as a part of the special event : (Jerusalem as the cultural capital of the Arab World during 2009).
Mr. Ammar Al-Kurdi , the head of the committee said that the participants are Palestinian students in most, followed by students from the United Arab Emirates , who are spiritually linked to Jerusalem as the capital of culture and the city of peace.
- The contest was launched to confirm the Arabic right in Jerusalem. The large participation in the contest is a result of the fruitful efforts of the Palestinian Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education in the UAE, as well as the sponsoring of Superlink company in Palestine. He added.
