Celebrites - Believe or Not believe

How many times have we heard that Angelina and Jlo are pregnant? Only four years ago we heard Brad and Jen had gone on vacation and everything was okay, We heard he wanted children, she didn't, she couldn't and he....Okay, you get the picture. Being a person who enjoyed selecting a magazine from the checkout counter and taking it home to read I realized several months ago that all the stories were the same. It also dawned on me that some celebrities you seldom hear about. Can I say Johnny DeppJohnny Depp, Mandy MooreMandy Moore, Tommy Lee JonesTommy Lee Jones or Jodie FosterJodie Foster. Sure you might hear something but it's not as if the Kardashians are running by shaking their every tail feather in your face. I then get infuriated when I hear these same people talk about their privacy.

People , these celebrities have agents and publicists that make money off these very people. The more they can discuss Angelina, Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman and JLo being pregnant the more they will earn. It use to be years ago they would cover up real life such as Rock HudsonRock Hudson's story to appeal to women of that era. They even arranged for him to be married and shown around town with women. If you notice the same could be true for many celebrities for this day and time.

After getting tired of the same stories I decided for every magazine I was tempted to buy to place that money aside until the end of every month. I would then choose a charity or a cause to donate the cash at hand. Sounds like a small bit doesn't it? Well let's see, there were two articles that stand out in my mind which featured Rihanna in the month of May. Vibe and Us. Also I was tempted to buy Playboy just to see how well Lisa RinnaLisa Rinna's body had stood up through childbirth and being in her 40's. There was also Brooke ShieldsBrooke Shields and her mom that I placed back on the rack since I realized it would also be something else next month. Money saved...approximately $30 to a local neighborhood cause. Not that I would have bought each one but it was tempting to say the least.

Will I completely stop buying these sort of magazines? Seriously? I just may. Not only am I working on my own addiction but I am looking forward to the next cause. If I do get the need to read there is always the internet. Hey right under the Allvoices title there is a tab which reads Entertainment. I will just click on that from now on and not only read my stories but comment as well.
