    I completely agree! No matter how many times you tell them not to have sex, they are going to do it if they want to. I remember what I was doing when I was 14 and 15 years old. The key is to teach them how to be safe and smart about it.

    And just like you tell them not to have sex and they don't listen, the same when you explain about condoms,STD's, and the expenses of raising a child...there not going to listen. This is one of those things that you just got to pray about. Yes, give them the information but also guard them from situations that may put them in the position to make the wrong choice.

    I agree, the local high school used to have one of those programs where kids took home baby dolls that cried and you had to take care of them for about a week, that definitely made an impact on my sister, but they cut the program, and now a year doesn't go by without a teen pregnancy. A hole was created and no one stepped in to fill it up, parents or teachers.

    What about a country like the Philippines where parents refuse to disguss
    sex with their daughters because the church has them scared by drumming
    it in that you are teaching the kids the works of the devil? A country
    without condoms or the pill because of the church interference in people's lives telling them they would lose their immortal soul and will
    go to hell for eternity where they would be gnashing their teeth in fire
    and brimstone. Teens will experiment and will do it regardless of what some mad preacher may say to them. 12/6/2009.
