    Lol...go figure that the old lady put it in her mattress and her kids didn't even bother to look for it. Good story. It just shows how far human greed will go.

    Oh, what a tragic way to trash the cash!!

    This is a bizzare example of life imitating art. In the cartoon "Spongebob Squarepants”, Spongebob and Patrick throwaway the miserly Mr Krabs’ lumpy, old mattress which had a million dollars hidden in it. That was followed by a frantic search to retrieve the moolah from the garbage heap.

    Correction,INSIDE a mattress.In the olden days esp. during wars,women esp. would hide their life-savings inside a mattress after opening it from the side and then would stitch it up.Can you think of other hiding places to hide money,anyone?
