Brazil honors the previous palestinian ambassador

Ramallah – Palestinian News Agencies – Today in Ramallah, The Ambassador of Brazil in Palestinian territory Ligia Shearer has granted Dr. Ahmed Subh, the Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the highest decoration of honor granted by Brazil to the high-level foreign dignitaries.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of officials from the cabinet of the President, Council of Ministers, ministries, and the Legislative Council ( The Parliament) , as well as the ambassadors accredited to the Palestinian National Authority and Palestinian ambassadors accredited to the Foreign countries.

It should be noted that the (Southern Cross) decoration is usually given by an Order of the Brazilian President through a presidential decree by the recommendation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

It should be noted that the Dr. Ahmad Sobh, had served as Ambassador of Palestine to Brazil (1989 - 1995), and in honor of his efforts in promoting bilateral relations between Palestine and Brazil, the Palestinian Brazil. Brazil has decided to provide him this award through the Brazilian Ambassador in Ramallah.
