Very sad indeed. My heart goes out to the people who have suffered.

Sad thing is that it happens so often now that we're all just used to it. I changed the channel pretty quickly after finding out the details. It's just a part of life here now, at least that's how it seems. Living with this kind of tension on a daily basis is actually psychologically and otherwise very stressful, and kind of depressing, though that is not immediately apparent. Now we know how the Palestinians feel. Well, they say the finest steel must withstand the test of fire. So far I haven't lost anyone close to me; maybe then I won't take it so lightly. Great pictures btw.

exactly changez ... we have got used to being spectators but just imagine what happened in the taj hotel in mumbai on 26/11 night ... people were enjoying an evening out with their friends and close ones and were shot down mercilessly by terrorists ... how can anyone come to terms with such inhuman acts?

I can positively say the bombing was done by Taliban suicide bombers who
are taking vengeance out against the Pakistani government for destroying
their foothold and for their dwindling numbers in Swat Valley. They said
the Taliban numbers of fighters is being depleted because the Pakistani
army are killing them all, so they are becoming desperate and starting to
attack the tourist and the domestic civilian areas to teach the government a lesson to leave them alone. 11/6/2009.

whosoever is respondsible - it is deplorable, killing of innocents in the name of anythimg is absolutely not to be encouraged in the civilised world ...
  • Posted By alvina alvina | 5 months ago
Yes you are right Prabirghose, but civilized world can be created by people. If we cannot feel the pain of such suffered families who lost their loved ones in terrorist attacks, than how we can be able to establish a peaceful world. World is now become a coagulate place where everyone is busy in their lives and don’t want to even take a look on those who suffered these disasters.

alvina - i agree with you upto a certain extent ... but, should we wait for it to happen to us before we can even realise the sufferings that victims and their families have to undergo... how would you feel collecting bits and pieces of the remanants of your near and dear ones from the debris of a bomb attack?
  • Posted By alvina alvina | 5 months ago
Prabirghose actually I mean to say that at least we should feel the pain of such families who are facing these crises. Of course these crises can be overcome to any one, why we don’t realize it before it happens to us?
No doubt it’s really hard to lost your near ones and dear ones in bomb attacks, I can really feel the pain without suffering from these terrorist attacks because as a human being if we are not felling the pain of others than how we can say that we are a human.
