If you are a true Web 2.0 user, then you have already begun running the plethora of web-based software applications (SAAS a/k/a Software As A Service) that exists on the Internet.

If so, that's great. Until you start browsing to look up things, opening up several links from an e-mail session, or do price-comparison shopping. All of a sudden the web application you are using gets lost amongst all the research, forwarded links, or shopping sites.

Well, if you use the Firefox browser, you can use the Prism add-on to make the web application you normally use in a browser session appear as a standalone window session on your desktop. Cool.
