Microsoft has launched a new search engine website called Bing to counter Google's dominance of the search engine market. To advertise the site Microsoft has a 80 to 100 million $ war...
everyone has been saying that microsoft sucks lately but i personally like microsoft. they have made earth shaking changes in the field of IT and OS (operating system) development. This is a good step but i dont know why microsoft is always late in doing what they have to to, like for instance they are late on ZUNE, the portable music device and now everyone likes PS3 (playstation 3) more then Xbox 360. now they are coming to this search engine (BING) long after Google. lets see how it goes. if it is easier to use then google then people might shift to BING from Google, which i doubt.
Seems like a decent search engine, but it's going to be extremely difficult to compete with Google. Google has been in the "search engine game" for so many years now, and I don't think any new comers can top it. I've visited the Bing home page, and remarkable visuals are displayed. However, I don't know whether or not it's such a good idea. It takes focus away from the main purpose, the search bar. I think Google's plain and simple layout has played a decent role in it's success.
never say never, i believe Google dominance will fade in due time and BING might just be it, ive tried it and the features are superb!
