Karachi, June: Sindh Labour Minister Amir Nawab Khan said on Wednesday that internally displaced persons of Swat and Malakand. who have taken refuge in Karachi. would return home when normalcy returns in their areas.<

<

Inspecting an IDP camp, set up in Gadap Town Karachi, he expressed his displeasure over poor quality of tents there. He said tents are too small even for smaller families, adding no proper arrangements are there to facilitate women. He directed to improve facilities at the camp, besides setting up more washrooms for displaced people.<

The Minister noted that 80 percent of IDPs that had come to Karachi were living with their relatives, while remaining 20 percent in IDP camp. He maintained that many relatives of IDPs in Karachi are also poor, so the government must financially support the displaced people.<
