Grand triba jirga held
Grand tribal jirga was held at Landikotal to condemn the abduction of students of Razamak Cadet College. The elders of Shiwari and Zakha Khel tribes held a grand jirga at tehsils office here on Tuesday to condemn the kidnapping of the teaching staff and students of Razmak Cadet College by unknown armed persons. It is against the tribal culture and Islam to harass the students and teaching staff, the tribal elders said. It is highly condemnable to carry out such acts based on terror in the tribal areas, which could spoil the image of the tribal people through out the world, the elders opined. They said that students were the masons of the nation and the bright future. Tribal people would never support inhuman activities by miscreants to bring a bad name to Islam and the tribal areas.

Haji Khayal Muhammad said that it was never good to mentally torture students and teachers or to carry out bomb blasts in educational institutes in tribal areas. He requested the kidnappers to release all innocent detained persons. Malik Ashraf Khan said that in tribal Pushtoon society women and students are not tortured nor insulted. He said it would be encouraging if the detained students and teachers were released in Razmak.Haxrat islam, Pervez, Malik Khan and Mushtaq Khan also expressed their opinion and demaned the safe release of the students of Razmak college. They flayed the abductions in tribal areas and said that students, teachers and the schools should be safe at any cost.

It's a good thing these people are finally catching on. Maybe kidnappings are a bad thing after all huh. Who'dve thought it

This is also a good thing that our elders condemned that brutal step of kidnappers, but they should also take some steps to bring peace to our own area by making contact and negotiations with militants.
