Ocean City, MD. Matthew Louis Klaff of Rockville was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault and reckless endangerment after allegedly attacking a man he was sharing a taxi with on the night of May 8th. The taxi driver reports Klaff and the victim exchanged heated words. Then Klaff became enraged, beat the victim unconscious, dragged him out of the vehicle, kicked him multiple times, and fled the scene. Klaff was later arrested by Officer Carl Perry of the Ocean City Police Department. Klaff posted bail and is out on bond. He faces 40 years behind bars and a $2,500 fine. His preliminary hearing is on July 10th at Ocean City District Court.
