    Oh, those creative chalk artists!
Swine Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Berkeley held it's annual Chocolate and Chalk Art Festival on May 30, so Punditty and a friend took a stroll to see what we could see. There were good chalk drawings, bad chalk drawings, chalk doodles, chalk chickenscratch and even chalk art depicting chocolates. But the "Swine Flu Over the Cuckoo's Nest" art was by far The Punditty Project's favorite.

Funny, that pig doesn't look like Jack Nicholson!

What idiocy, Swine flu doesn't exist and never did. The latest report from the Oz channel yesterday was that none of the passengers on the P & 0 cruise ship were infected with the cursed thing, it was only the normal
seasonal flu that comes once a year with the seasonal change. Nothing to worry about. 2/6/2009.

This was quite an extravagant piece of artwork. This was the selected favorite by many at the festival. It is amazing that this masterpiece was created solely by rubbing chalk on a sidewalk. I loved how this was done based on a play on words and using relevant news since the controversy about the "swine flu". It was very creative!

Sense of humour and artistic talent - two great combinations. Reagarding chalk art have you heard of an English artist called Julian Beever? He creates amazing pavement art in 3d, really spectacular. http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm

Beever's work is awesome. Thanks for reminding me of it!
