CYCLONE AILA HITS WEST BENGAL KILLING AND AFFECTED MANY PEOPLE

After 2002 this is the first time that cyclone Aila hit west Bengal. Started about 12 .am and having 100 to 120 kilometer per hour. Lakhs of people loses their houses and the about nine people died in the incident.

The most effected area was districts of 24 parganas, even the city also suffered the worst. The BSF started rescue operation. In the city itself 4 persons died .The other areas faced the cyclone is hoogly, howrah and Bardhaman District.
