THE opening of classes in all public schools in the country will resume on June 1, 2009, despite that there has been one confirmed case of Swine Flu virus or AH1N1 virus.

Department of Health (DOH) disclosed, they don’t see any reason to delay the school opening at the moment.

However, Department of Education (DepEd) rigidly prepares for its information campaign regarding the deadly disease.

DepEd Assistant Secretary Thelma Santos said, “We are already creating task force to all school divisions, regional school levels and then, we are also working on our intensified advocacies including the strengthening of our health professionals in working together with regards to communication control.”
