Mies van der Rohe Test Cell at IIT in Chicago

A little building and two walls by the 20th century modern master architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is threatened with demolition. A train company wants to tear it down to erect a station, but the land on the other 3 sides of the intersection is vacant! Why squander architectural heritage?
