The district of Kinnaur is comprised with high peaks,high attitude valleys,decent glaciers.

This breath taking beautiful district is accomodated with 75 villages.

The main town of Kinnaur district is at a hight of 2750 metrs from Recong Peo,and is covered by vineyards,apple orchads,deodar forests.It affords a panoramic view of Kinnaur kailash.

The places also to watch are Narayan Nagini Temple,Lord Buddh's Monastery.

We can reach by air,which is 250 Kms from Shimla.
We can reach by rail from Shimla.
We can reach by road through Hindustan Tibet road.

The Chinese government should open Tibet to the tourists, stop harrassing

sounds breattaking it really looks like the roof of the world!
Thank you for sharing this with us,
and lets hope someday Tibet will be free for visitors and that it may be an independant part of the peoples republic of china.
If not for the chinese intervention the Tibetan people and the dalai lama would not be known all around the world.
So there is an brighter side of this.
Thanks to the chinese the dalai lama has gained a great deal and has become so influential in the west.
I doubt this would have happend without the chinese intervention, sincxe the Tibetans where living in their splendid isolation.
Future will show wheter the chinese helped open up Tibet to the world.
