Taipei, Taiwan- A Taiwanese man was bit on his penis by a snake in his toilet as he sat there in the bathroom of his rural home in Nantou County, Taiwan.
He felt a sharp pain as soon as he sat down on the toilet and instinctively stood up immediately only to look down and see a large black and yellow snake in the toilet bowl.
The 51 year old man was getting medical care with minor injuries at a local hospital and doctors expected him to make a full recovery.
Local television images showed the reptile being plucked away from the toilet bowl by local authorities. It is believed that the snake entered his toilet through a crack in the lid of his septic tank. Snakes are known to regularly enter rural Taiwanese homes via the toilet and drainage in sub-tropical regions of Asia. So next time you are in a rural town in Taiwan visiting, be sure look carefully all around before you sit down on the toilet .
