The news has it that the pop star Madonna and her toy boy Jesus Luz are all set to tie the knot in a Kabbalah ceremony. The news was modestly confirmed by the groom’s father, Mr. Luiz Heitor Pinto da Luz. Talking about his son’s interest in the ceremony, he said, “He is very happy and this ceremony would just confirm that.'
The couples first met when they got together for a photo shoot for W magazine in a hotel room in Rio de Janeiro by renowned photographer, Steve Klein. Madonna’s 8 year marriage with Guy Richie ended last year their decree nisi came through in November. Hence, started a whole new chapter in the month following.
The 22 year old model’s getting all up, close, and personal with Madonna wasn’t something really pleasant to his dad but now it so appears that dear daddy has also come to terms with the fact that his son is happily in love with the material girl so if that is what makes his dearest son happy then let it be.
While giving a statement to the reporters on the implications of getting married in a Kabbalah ceremony, the father said, “I don’t know if there will be an actual wedding. From what I have read there could be a sort of ritual, but I don’t know Kabbalah…to know if it’s valid and legal.”
Madonna has just joined the line of some famed celebrities who wished to tie the knot in a Kabbalah ceremony. Britney Spears and Demi Moore were also among them however, the latest update is that Britney is sidelining the idea of Kabbalah ceremony for her wedding. But, the question is what is so special about Kabbalah ceremony anyways?
If you wish to know what a Kabbalah wedding would look like, you really don’t need to research any further than looking in to the Kabbalah Centre, whose invention it is. According to some sources, there is no such thing as a Kabbalah wedding but it is mere modification of a traditional Jewish wedding.
The Kabbalah website explains, “While many of the customs seem to be Jewish, the Kabbalistic wedding ceremony is full of understanding, wisdom, and connections that essentially sew the two souls-halves together, creating one new whole soul. There are 7 blessings recited in this process, reading from the Zohar from Psalms, and other key factors.”
The 7 blessings mentioned on their website are direct from the traditional Jewish wedding. They are called the ‘Sheva Brachot’ and are for Wine, Creation, the Creation of Humanity, Human reproduction, the future of Zion, the happiness of the bride and groom, and the reign of love and peace in a restored Jerusalem. Now, how fruitful this Kabbalah wedding will turn out for Madonna & Jesus Luz, only time will tell!
