An American beauty might lose her crown
The girl Carrie Prejean who won the Miss California USA title might lose her crown – it seems she had not supported same sex marriages but had spoken for arranged marriages. The girl is a native of San Diego and was named the first runner-up to Miss North Carolina in the Miss USA pageant April 19. She later went on to win the crown. The serious charge against her is that she had posed in semi-nude topless photos for a magazine. The girl has not denied that but has explained that it was when she was much younger and it was done as a part of her portfolio – she was a model and models need to appear in various types of dress and undress to make an impression.
