And yet another twitch in the story of an Iraqi male in Sweden

It had been silent for a few weeks and I was just wondering what had happened to my friend when I recieved an e-mail that informed me about the latest development in the story of his life. He had gone through surgery in Denmark and came back to Sweden for another surgery in a city a bit up north from were I live. I was pleased to hear that he felt better and that the surgery had gone well. Since he isn't allowed to become a resident in Sweden it's all been quite stressful for my friend. Since I heard about his family and what had happened to his brother back in Iraq I haven't been able to understand why the authorities in this civil nation of mine doesn't believe his story and refuses to allow him to stay here when other relatives of his are allowed to do just that. The latest information I have received is that the police came to the hospital and moved him to a prison in another city. I confess that I am perplexed but I guess that it's because I am naive and still believe in humanity as a whole. I hope that this mans story will become a peaceful one and that one day he will know what it's like to have a home and a job. I also hope that he will use his language skills and education to help other immigrants to conform to our society and learn to love Sweden. Shame on our Immigration Officials that sometimes act like they just left kindergarten. Yours Sincerely debi
