Unrest on May Day across the World

The first day of May is observed as the Labor Day all over the World but this year there were demonstrations reported from different corners like Germany, Turkey, Italy, Japan and South Korea. Even Russia faced the heat with supporters walking through the streets of St. Petersburg carrying portraits of Lenin. The reasons are hazy but appear to be the after effects of global recession where the number of jobs is shrinking and countries are finding it difficult to satisfy the huge labor force. They want increase in salaries and no lay-offs or salary cuts.
