The government of Sudan has notified the international community about Chadian-backed movements by the Justice and Equality Movement along the Sudanese Chadian borderlines and that these movements have been monitored by the concerned Sudanese bodies. The official spokesman of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, ambassador Ali Al Sadeq has pointed out in press statements that the concerned government bodies monitored on the 30th of April the crossing of a five man Chadian group mounted on a Chadian registered land cruiser pickup to the area of Khor Baragna in West Darfur state where they were apprehended by the Sudanese armed forces. He added that before that and on the 25th of April JEM has amassed a force of 120 trucks beside four Chadian army registered trucks with Chadian mortars moving towards THE of Um Jaras led y Abdul Karik Shalawai, Hassan Abdul Aziz, Bakheet Dijou and Wargo Suliman Dhahia and Mohamed Salih Garou, all under the command of a Chadian army brigadier general. The spokesman said this group splintered into three subgroups, the first moving towards Wade Hour north of Furawia and the second east of Kariari and the third subgroup moved towards North of Tinhe. He said these were sample of these movements that occurred recently, under the supervision of the Chadian army despite Chadian claims that they were not involved with JEM. The Spokesman said the International Community has been notified so that it should shoulder its responsibility about the repercussions of such actions and the intervention in the domestic affairs of the Sudan and the continued moral, material and military support for JEM. He said the government was closely monitoring those movements and that in case any further development takes place then the Sudan would not hesitate to take the needed action against them.
