KUJ and TUJ Condemned threats to media men

Journalists condemned threats of a Taliban militants group to media men in Swat. KUJ,demanded the high ups of the country to protect journalists community to raise voice independently. In a press release president of Khyber Union of Journalists Muhammad Riaz and General Secretary Yousal Khan has demaned the Governement officials to provide security to the journalist for performing their duties well. In this press release it has been stated that Torturing and kidnapping journalists is the daily routine which they termed international human rights violation. Khyber union of journalists and Tribal union of journalist also condemned arresting of journalist Dilawar Jan,Correspondent of Daily The News and demanded of the government to release him soon. Peshawar based journlaists will also hold protest against the threats given to media men
