Dr. Panayiotis Zavos on human cloning

The claims of a controversial doctor to have cloned human embryos and placed them into 4 women geared up to conceive the first cloned babies, is truly one of the most bizarre and creepy news that you could ever read! The imprudent decision to alter Nature’s ways was taken up by Panayiotis Zavos, a fertility specialist by cloning 14 embryos and placing 11 of them into the wombs of four women.

The women came from the Britain, United States and an unspecified country in the Middle East. They claimed to have filmed the cloning process, with the consent of the women.

The cloning process is illegal in Britain and many other countries. Probably the reason for conducting the experiment in a secret laboratory in the Middle East, where cloning is not banned. Although none of the embryos led to pregnancy, doc claims that this is indeed the first chapter in human cloning.

The doc added, 'We aren’t interested in cloning Michael Jordans and the Michael Jacksons of the world. The rich and the famous don't participate in this anyway.'
