When will the vandalism stop?
There does not appear to be any letup in the strikes by the vandals – they continue to target the churches and keep up the bogey of forceful conversions. The latest is reported from a place near Nagpur. Everyone is aware of the people and groups who are behind these attacks but the existing situation is unable to punish the miscreants. The main reason is the political patronage that they enjoy. It has to be realized by the people that those who carry out such attacks are not driven by any ideology except that of material gains. They are criminals who take an unholy delight in robbing the innocents and dishonoring the women and girls.
