The policeman suspended after the death of a G20 protestor is now being quizzed after it was confirmed that the dead man died from internal bleeding and not a heart attack as first suspected.

The findings were discovered after a second post mortem was carried out by Dr Nat Cary after it was requested by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and Mr Tomlinson's family. The family did not belive the initial findings of Dr Freddy Patel which said the cause of death was coronary artery disease. Although Dr Cary agreed that this was present, stating that in his opinion "its nature and extent is unlikely to have contributed to the cause of death" he said that the main cause of death was abdominal haemorraging. Although Dr Cary has not indicated what caused the haemorrage, the family it is was caused by a violent assault.
