Islamabad : Pakistan | 7 months ago

MAULVI ABDUL AZIZ, also known as KHATEEB (head) of RED MOSQUE (LAL MASJID) has been released on bail by the supreme court of Pakistan. This is another important decision by the Supreme court since the restoration of Iftikhar Chaudary as Chief justice of Supreme court.

He was detained by the security forces of Pakistan in 2007 (when he tried to escape in veil) before RED MOSQUE (LAL MASJID) operation where numerous were killed who had loaded the mosque with weapons and ammunition and were trying to impose their version of Islam and were constantly demanding their system across Pakistan. Pakistan security forces also suffered casualties at that time

I believe religion is not to be imposed on anyone and its just so sad how they would use a place of worship as a war zone and a warehouse for ammunition!

*SAD*!

Mona what about Swat? Govt didnt arrested Sufi Muhammad! Why? He also did the same thing as Maulvi Abdul Aziz. Strange that people are pointing fingers on Abdul Aziz but not saying a single word about Sufi Muhammad.

Very good decision by Supreme court.
