Choose the MTV Moive Nominations

On May 31 MTV will announce the winners of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, but before that fans are being given the opportunity to vote for the nominees and later the winners for awards like best performances, film and oddities like best villain, kiss, and fight. The 2009 edition of the MTV Movie Awards is being hosted by Adam Samberg and hip-hop artist EminemEminem has been announced as the first musical act scheduled to perform.

From now until April 20 fans can go to the MTV website at www.mtv.com (http://www.mtv.com/ontv/movieawards/2009/categories.jhtml) and cast their vote for their favourites in each of the categories. MTV will pick the nominees based on the votes cast by fans. Beginning May 4 through the 18 fans will once again be able to vote this time for their choice of winner in each category. Winners in the MTV Movie Awards receive a Golden Popcorn Award
