PHONE LINES ARE CUT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
GILROY, CA--For some unknown reason, telephone lines were cut in and around the Gilroy area.
At first it was felt that they were accidentally cut, but through further discovery they now know that they were intentionally cut. This threw out the 911 system, and the use of the internet.
The question is--Why?

That is pretty strange. When you say the lines were intentionally cut, did someone with appropriate authority cut the lines, or was it some unknown person. If it was an unknown person, I'm sure the crime has consequences. It is definitely serious, because at any time there can be an emergency and the need to dial 911.
