22 declared dead at Islamabad's Suicide Bombing!

This is very unfortunate. These attacks need to stop. It's not helping anyone at all. When will these guys realize that they aren't accomplishing anything by causing destruction? Serious action needs to be taken to eliminate these threats.

Praying for safety won't make you safe as people of all faiths do pray but still suffer death and destruction. Millions of people have died during various wars such as the crusade, the 2 WWs, Soviet revolution, Chinese revolution, Afghan revolution, Vietnam & Korean wars, the Sub-continent partition, Arab-Israeli wars, European, Arab, Persian, Turkish and Mongolian expansionist wars or as a result of natural disasters be it quakes, floods, droughts, fires, storms etc. I am sure most of those who were killed during those mishaps must have prayed and many more will still keep praying but to no avail. Every year during the muslim haj scores of pilgrims get killed right during the best of prayers because Allah does not or can not prevent a stampede.
If any god could protect us from disasters, I am certain, he/she could prevent the disaster from happenig in the first place.

Poor Palastinians even kept praying during the latest Israeli offensive. Unfortunately 1500 of them were killed, thousands injured and maimed and thousands of homes (even some mosques"Allah's House")were levelled flat in front of the watchful eyes of Allah(JJ).

Maybe God prefers Judism over Islam? I do not think so. What about the 6 millions Jews who were killed by Hitler on top of thousands more steadily killed, stripped of their valuables in various European countries prior to WWII and more notably in Spain?

Maybe the Lord loves Christians the best? I doubt it, too. Arabs promoting Islam in Europe and Africa killed thousands of Christians during the early periods of Islam, but the most striking example in this respect is the massacre of 1 million Armenian Christians in the hands of the Muslim Ottomons. The carnage in E. Timor and Darfur region of Sudan are the latest examples of Christians being ignored by Jesus.

As we can see, instead of bringing a common cause, mutual respect, cooperation and peacful coexistance, religions have caused conflicts, wars, death and destruction during the whole course of human history.

I do not know how many religions are there in the world. Let's say there are 100 of them. This means 100 more reasons to hate one another, to hurt one another and to kill each other.

Let's embrace logic, science and humanity. Make the 100 religioins history so that we will have 100 more reasons to love each one and care for one another.
