505-Million-Year-Old CRITTER

One of the most ancient fossils to date has been discovered by paleontologists recently. This has been one of the most baffling cases as it’s giant head and gill-covered body make this creature truly unique.

Now the perfectly preserved fossil is in the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.

The Critter, at 12 to 16 inches long, was a real smart prowler in the ancient seas of the Cambrian period. A few more pieces of the fossil from British Columbia, Canada have completed this ancient puzzle.
