Alaska's Redoubt volcano is erupting vigorously since sunday.According to the past reports this is fifth time of eruption. U.S.Geological survey survey's Alaska department stated that Early during January people were warned about this eruption.

Thereafter the alert lies between yellow and orange colour. Now this Redoubt pushed the ash for about 50000 feets high.U.S.geological survey says this eruption may continue for weeks or months.

Alaskas airlines has canceled the flights. No Damage or casualities reported. Stay with me latest updates.

    In mid-may 1980 my ex and I flew over Mount St Helens enroute to LA.
    At that time it was just "hissing" and the jet went RIGHT OVER IT!
    It blew while we were down there. Needless to say...it was the Looong
    way around coming back!
