The AVAAZ Group needs your help! Burmese Nobel Peace Prize

winner AUNG SAN SUU KYI has been incarcerated and under house

arrest by the Military Junta for 13 YEARS now! She and 2,000 other

pro-Democracy activists and Buddhists are detained and allowed

NO contact with the outside world. World Leaders both past and

present have recently written hundreds of letters to UN Secretary-

General Ban Kin-Moon to pressure the Junta to release

her and the other prisoners. They feel the time is right following the

devastation caused by last years floods opened a doorway of

international dialogue through relief efforts.

You can help her by signing the petition below sponsored by

AVAAZ.org They hope to collect 888,888 signatures to aid the

UN officials in securing her release. I would urge you to post this

on any bulletin boards, blogs or sites you frequent. Many hands

make light work and collectively WE can challenge INJUSTICE!

Thank you.

who just returned from that imprisoned country..an interesting read!

ps...a rerun, rousing song in the vid section!
