I think such political jokes play two opposite roles; they have the strength to say all that cannot be said otherwise but then it also increases pessimism and mistrust among public about politicians

Wow, the banking system on life support is a powerful cartoon. I particularly like the touch of having a "go away" mat instead of a welcome mat.
