Ansar Abbassi writes in his article' Diplomats See cut in Zardari's powers soon' that diplomats several from several countries are trying to diffuse the political tension caused by the confrontation of the two big political parties.

He says that an influential European diplomat confided to him that Zardari's powers would be cut soon. He would become a figurehead president as envisaged in the in the 1973 constitution. He says that diplomats also told him that deposed chief justice would be restored.

It is interesting to note that the new U.S. administration does not trust Mr. Zardari. It is said that 'Friends of Pakistan' are not willing to give cash to Paksitan because of Mr. Zardari's past.

Pakistanis will be happy to crisis end in Pakistan. However, it is very disturbing to note that foreign powers are very active in our country.
