The Governater with wife

Who says the glamour and the glitz is all owned and revered by the Hollywood only. The new story has it that the White House has become just about as glamorously tinseled as one could have possibly imagined. First Lady, Michelle Obama has already made her name for dressing in classy attires and always looking stunningly sophisticated.

Now the presidential together reaffirmed everyone that they are not the most charming couple around but they just know how to make their presence well-noticed and appreciated. Their recent glamour blow has been to the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes. Lately, we have all seen extreme fashion disasters on the red carpet of the Golden Globes and others but when Michelle and Barrack Obama Walked their way to their guests last night, the republicans were awe-struck more than anyone else!

The new U.S president turned on his charm factor while hosting the nation’s governors first official black tie dinner last night and to make everything picture perfect, he had beloved First Lady glittering by his side. The effort was in hopes of sweetening the relationship with handful of Republicans who were attacking him of his handling of the economy.

The highlights of the dinner were unveiling of the President’s plans of reducing America’s national debt by hammering the wealthy ones with higher taxes and slashing war spending. In order to bring down the national debt, the Obama administration intends cutting on Iraq war spending and government waste and inefficiency. The same was discussed by Obama in his weekly radio address yesterday when he promised to cut the nation’s ballooning £1 trillion debt to half over the next four years.

The black tie event was very well timed, wasn't it Majdy? I mean, there were never two ways about the Obamas' ability to play to the galleries.

The Obamas are as 'celebrity' (or, even more!!) as celebrities can be. That was evident right on 'day zero' of Barack's taking over the Presidency when the who's who of the entertainment world descended for the "We are One - Inaugural Concert".

Go, have a look at it by clicking on the link below.

I challenge anybody who would like to come forward and tell me that the Oscars were a bigger or better attraction than the 'Barack Show'!!

Guys, I want to hear your shouts!!!!!!

Because the fiasco of the last couple of months (some would argue years) of Bush's administration, Americans are willing to wait for awhile and see what Obama has to offer American politics. Thus, when Obama announced that he will cut the nation's incredible debt over the next four years, we are inclined to trust him and allow him to prove himself.

I had a question about Obama's plan to cut spending on the Iraq War, however. We've all seen the horrific war movies and read the terrifying war stories about inadequate medical services and unsanitary facilities and lack of food and drinks. If I understand what exactly war spending is (military equipment and rations/food), this decrease in aid to our troops in Iraq will only serve to discomfort our men and women over in the Middle East since Obama does not mention withdrawing troops anytime soon. IF someone could clarify Obama's stance on the war in Iraq and withdrawing troops and decreasing war spending, I'd appreciate it! It would clear up a lot of my confusion on this topic!

I do recall him saying something about withdrawing troops from Iraq but that seems like a year ago now. Lately haven't got any update on President's stance on withdrawing of troops.

The picture brings back one of those imaginations that Sydney Sheldon creates in his books, except for the face of Obama though!
