A Green Bay man has submitted to DNA testing to determine if he is indeed the man that put a five-month-old puppy in the hot oven of his ex-girlfriend. The girlfriend had broken up with the unidentified man and he was upset.

He had told people that he hated the dog because he was allergic to it and wanted that darn thing dead. He was also mad at his ex-girlfriend for breaking up with him and wanted revenge. This sad story started back in November 2008.

The owner of the puppy returned home to find her home filled with smoke and the oven turned on. After opening the oven, the puppy was found inside dead.

Detectives are waiting for the results back from the crime lab before issuing any charges. It could take weeks or even months before the results are returned to the Green Bay Police Department.

As always, this man is innocent until charged and found guilty. If he can do this to a poor helpless puppy, what could he do to a person that he hates and is mad at?
