Microsoft has begun rolling out additional updates to it's Windows Live Hotmail service, including changing the banner advert to the right-hand side of screen, and adding more space for users mailboxes.
The update was promised late last year and has finally been released, trickling down to users over the past week. The update includes changes to the location of the banner ad, which previosuly has been located at the top of the page, and the ability to now store up to 25GB of files on the Windows Live SkyDrive service.
Also announced is the ability to access numerous other email accounts from different hosts (such as gMail, AOL etc.) through the Windows Hotmail site, as well as a new consolidated adress book. Live Maps also now has better integration with emails, allowing you to insert a map for friends and family with just one click.
Also shown is a browser based MSN window, although how to access that is not at this stage very clear.
The update comes following the huge changes made in October last year, which changed the user interface and added features such as the ability to 'link' Live accounts to save signing in and out all the time.
