Eight Killed in Peshawar Bomb Explosion

‘Eight persons were killed and 16 others were injured in a car bomb explosion on Wednesday in Bazeed Khel area of Peshawar, the injured were hospitalized in a hospitals in Peshawar. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gailani had condemned the violent incident and have ordered probe to arrest the miscreants involved in this heinous crime,’ unveiled in a news report of a private TV Channel.

According to police sources Dr. Sameen and a clerk Aurangzeb were abducted in Dara Adam Khel and are kept in Matani area of Peshawar by Taliban militants they were coming from Peshawar towards Kohat, when militants had kidnapped both. Abducted Dr. Sameen is coordinator of Kahat and FATA in launching polio drive. Health department employees Fayaz and Namrose were also abducted in Dara Adam Khel, both were coming from Peshawar towards Kohat when were kidnapped by Taliban militants in Dara Adam Khel tribal area.

‘Thirteen suspects were arrested during security forces search operation in Bosti Khel and Sura Mela areas of Dara Adam Khel on Wednesday,’ a source has said.

According to police sources five Afghan refugees and 27 other persons allegedly involved in different crimes were arrested on Wednesday during eight hours long grand operation of Kohat police lead by DPO Abdullah Khan, three Klashinkoves, seven pistols, nine rifles, 391 cartridges of different bores and five kilogram Cannabis was recovered from the custody of arrested alleged criminals.
