How do you tackle a sadistic old bachelor who vandalises young couples, supresses women and wants to be the next religious fanatic? Well, some women in India seem to think that sending him and his goons boxes full of pink women underwear would help.

Hilarious is word not funny enough for the situation that has Mr Muthalik in a strange predicament. He is not only surprised at the women's reaction, who he thinks that he is protecting from evil, but he is also shamelessly calm in saying the women who has sent this are confused, and that the reply would be the traditional India dress, the Saree.

Well, I am not quite sure that he would be able to buy 2,500 underwears. Because that is the amount of innerwears reaching the rebel organisation's office in Hubli. Bollywood, which is the world used to describe the Hindi film industry, has also extended their suqapport towards this campaign. An actor has lent her support to this campaign, coordinated by Nishan Susan.

It has been reported that the underwear contained insulting messages, phone numbers and names. I hope that Mr Muthalik gets the bigger picture and leaves young couples alone.

Hey Pranay, the campaign is the brainchild of Nisha Susan (not Nishan as stated in your report). Probably the error was an oversight!

I do not know about the insulting messages that came with the 'undies' but I do know that a lot of creatively produced images/cartoons did go with the lingerie. I have been able to collect about 100 of them and all have been posted in two instalments) on this site along with my reports.

Do check, I'm sure you'll love them.
