  • Buggati Veyron vs Euro Jet
    Posted by: hardtalk

The Bugatti Veyron is considered to be the World's fastest car and is produced by Volkswagen Group subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS. It is currently one of the fastest accelerating and decelerating production cars in the world, with a 0 -100- 0 time of 8.6 seconds and, at 1.1 million Euro (1.5 million USD) , it is also one of the most expensive cars in the world.

The gallery contains images of a Veyron owned by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Mohammad is the Prime Minister and VP of the United Arab Emirates, as well as, the ruler of the city state, Dubai. In 2008, his wealth was estimated at $18 billion USD. This made him the world's fifth richest royal. The registration number of the Veyron is " UAE 1 " , the most expensive numbers in UAE.

Its a strange thing , at one end of the world people are dying of hunger & poverty and here Sheikhs are enjoying the luxuries of life. I wonder what other cars this Sheikh has. Well, just googled him.. he's one hell of a Sheikh.. he can afford anything, as I read somewhere "Sheikh gets whatever he wants". Cool ..right?

You make a good point, Hardtalk. Leaders with too much power tend to overindulge, while millions dig through trash dumps in hopes of finding something to eat.

Newspapers have reported that more than 3,000 cars sit abandoned in the parking lot at the Dubai Airport, left by fleeing, debt-ridden foreigners (who could in fact be imprisoned if they failed to pay their bills). Some are said to have maxed-out credit cards inside and notes of apology taped to the windshield.

I'd even say that middle class folk don't realize that just owning an old "beater" car puts them toward the top of the world's economic pyramid. We're too busy looking up at the shiny cars the Sheikh drives to realize that we're standing on top of most of the world's population.

well the thing is only if the Sheikh's were smart enough to do more than buying expensive cars and building malls! They aint using their money for any POSITIVE work as such! There health and education sector are just so weak.
