If you happened to be walking west on the south side of Berkeley's University Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 7, you may have noticed a trail of economic-themed messages written on scraps of various-sized pink paper and taped to utility polls.
The tough economic times have no doubt been on the Scrap Paper Philosopher's mind of late, as witnessed by the two pictures accompanying this report.
Whether or not you agree with the sentiments expressed, you have to feel for the poor saps on their way to dead-end jobs when they noticed the SPP's messages.
