According to Israel's military a rocket has been fired from Gaza, that in their opinion it violates the rather informal truce that is in place so far. The rocket has struck an Israeli farm.
The attack over Gaza has been stopped on January 18 but the two sides(Israel and Hamas) have not agreed on a formal cease-fire. In the mean time, Egypt is trying to mediate a possible agreement.
A few days back Israeli troops have killed three Palestinians in border shootings. They have been identified as farmers by the Gazan officials.
So, who is breaking the truce? Is there a truce to be broken or just a delay of actions until further notice? Are the two parties waiting for something, are they relaying or hoping on Egypt's efforts to get to a long term solution? For the moment it seems that the solution of the whole situation is going to take some time.
