Power Chord Academy is more than just a fantasy camp for rocking guitar players, it is a chance for young musicians to learn some valuable skills when it comes to learning the art of music. Power Chord Academy is a seven day camp designed for amateur guitar players which also caters to the teen player. Now along with the seven day summer camp, Power Chord Academy announces two new camps - gameROCKER is a three day camp and iROCKER is a one day camp where campers learn from the pros about playing, writing, recording music and get to participate in a Battle of the Bands at the end of the camp.
Power Chord Academy offers camps in various locations around the country during the summer months of June and July so that young musicians have the opportunity to participate and hone their guitar playing skills. The 2009 edition of Power Chord Academy offers camps in Boston, New York, Chicago, and San Diego. For more information about specific dates and to sign up go to http://www.powerchordacademy.com.
