The house has voted and delayed the digital switch. The new date for the switch will be June 12. This will give everyone another four months to get their converter boxes and make sure their TV's are working correctly.

For those who do not have the coupons, you can still sign up and be put on the waiting list. There are millions of people waiting for the coupons. There is a plan to make more coupons in the near future. If you have a coupon that has expired, you have to sign up for the new coupons and wait in line. You only have ninety days from the time you receive the coupon to use it.

Although this has been an ongoing thing for the past two years, it appears that many people procrastinated and did not sign up for the coupons. Now you can sign up and hop that there are enough the second time around.

If you do not receive a coupon, you have other options for making the switch to digital. You can sign up for cable or satellite TV, or buy the converter box yourself for about $60. There are converter boxes available, but you have to get one now before those run out, if that is possible.
