Tipperary Station finance manager David Breed suddenly had a severe heart attack. Ms Sharon Hegyi, who is a registered nurse, rushed forward to help him. She acted fast and gave him medication, hooked him up to oxygen and called an ambulance from Adelaide River. But David Breed's condition started to deteriorate and sensing that he might die she put him in a car and drove towards Royal Darwin Hospital with her husband.
Sharon Hegyi and her husband were shocked when they returned from Christmas holidays and were told they were being made redundant. Beside this they were given separation package and were told to leave the company house within two weeks.
Both of them were completely shattered and were sacked just weeks after they saved the life of one of their bosses.
Sharon Hegyi and her husband has worked at Tipperary Station company house since seven years.
Its so socking that an office worker is fired after saving the life of her Boss.
