Bullet Train - Shinkansen

The Japan Railway Company has unveiled its design for the latest model.
It is shinkansen bullet train that will run at a domestic record speed of 320 kilometers / hour.

The company had developed the new model as the next generation of the "Hayate" bullet train on the Tohoku Shinkansen line.

The new train design unveiled on Tuesday featuring a streamlined nose about 15 meters long to reduce drag. The design possesses a color base of white and green.

And a new type of pantograph was introduced to reduce noise when the train runs at speed. The new model is also loaded with a special device to allow the train to maintain its speed during curvatures and turns. Passenger seats are wider than those of the current "Hayate."

The introduction of the new model is expected early next year and to increase its operating speed to a domestic record of 320 kilometers / hour in early 2013.

As per example, the new train will take approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes to run between Tokyo and Shin-Aomori in Japan.
